The Enfield British Pattern Bayonet was the most imported bayonet during the Civil War and was used extensively by both sides, though the Confederates imported far more Enfields during the course of the war. 1853 Enfield Bayonet is made to fit .577 caliber (.58) 3-band rifled infantry muskets of the civil war era, and will fit modern reproductions and replicas as well, making the bayonet a must have for civil war reenactors and collectors. Enfield Bayonet measures 21 inches long with 18 inch blade length, 3 inch socket length, and 0.8 inch muzzle socket diameter.
